To add plot points to the Freeform board, Go to your Story

Click on the Board button > select Plot Board.

Select Freeform Grid

In the bottom area of the board, choose the plot point type you want to add

Drag and drop plot points anywhere on the grid

A modal box will open up which will allow you to create a new plot point or import data from your story

You can add an infinite amount of plot points to the board. Drag from the sides to create a line and connects it to other plot points. You just have to double click on any of the lines to create connection points

To delete a line, you just have to right-click on any of the lines and click on the X button that pops up.

To update your payment information, go to Livingwriter Editor’s screen,

Click on the gear icon > Select Subscription

On your Subscription page, click on Update your Stripe payment method

Fill out your payment information then click update payment method

To Delete your Account, go to Livingwriter Editor’s screen,

Click on the gear icon > Select Profile

On the Account information > Click Delete Account

To recover deleted chapters and story elements , go to livingwriter.com, log in, and then:

  1. Open your story, click on the “Story” tab > on the drop-down menu, go to “Chapter Version History” > then select “Recover Deleted”.

2. There’ll be a pop-up box that will show your deleted Chapters > select the chapter that you want to recover > click on the “Recover” button.

To disable word count for certain chapters, go to livingwriter.com, log in, and then:

  1. Go to your story, click the settings icon on the right sidebar next to the chapter name.

2. Click on the box to exclude the chapter from word count.

To add global notes , go to livingwriter.com, log in, and then:

  1. Go to your story, click on the note icon on the right side of the screen.

2. Click on the “Add Note” button on the bottom right corner,

A note box will appear where you can edit the Title and add content

You can also click on the maximize icon to make the note pop up and have a larger view.

To add Story Notes , go to livingwriter.com, log in, and then:

  1. In your story, click on the note icon on the right side of the screen.

2. Click on the “Add Note” button in the bottom right corner.

3. A note box will appear where you can edit the Title and add content.

To add characters to the story elements board, go to livingwriter.com, log in, and then:

  1. In your story, click on the “Board” button with a Pin Icon > select “Story Elements”.

2. When you select “Story Elements”, A box will pop up on the right part of the screen which will allow you to add characters to your story.

To reset password, go to livingwriter.com, log in, and then:

  1. On the Editor’s page, click on the gear icon at the upper right corner of the screen.

2. On the drop-down menu, select “Profile”.

3. Fill out the necessary information, then click “Save”.

To install Grammarly on Chrome,

  1. Open a Chrome browser > Click the 3 dots on the upper right side corner.

2. On the drop-down, select” More tools”.

3. In another drop-down , select “Extensions”.

4. It will route you to the extensions page > Click on the icon beside “Extensions”.

5. On the lower portion of the screen > click on “Open Chrome Web store”.

6. On the search box > type “Grammarly”.

7. Select Grammarly as an extension.

8. Click “Add to Chrome”.

9. On the pop-up box > select “Add Extension”.

To Install it on Firefox,

  1. Open Firefox > visit the Firefox Add-ons page to install the Grammarly browser extension> Click on the link below.

2. Click “Add to Firefox” to start the download.

3. Once you’ve added the extension to your browser > click on “Turn it on” to enable the checking.

To Install it on Edge,

For the older version

  1. Open Edge > go to Microsoft store to install the Grammarly browser extension. 

2. Click “Get the app” to start the download.

3. Once you’ve added the extension to your browser, click on “Turn it on” to enable the checking.

For the New Version of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium

To add Grammarly’s browser extension to Microsoft Edge,

1.Click on the link below > Click “Get”, and then press “Add Extension”:

After you have downloaded and installed Grammarly for Microsoft Edge, you should be able to use it as you write online.
